I've got the 35A model... It's good for 50A for 30 seconds. The amperage rating is sort of a pre-set internal limit - the unit won't self destruct if for some reason you ask more out of it.

Lowest temp: 148*F

Other temps: 158, 166, 173, 180, 187, 194, 202, 212.

Why does it go on the other side? Can you put the temp probe on the inlet side of the radiator? It just seems like it would get a more accurate reading to me.

How much was that 60amp controller?

The Flex-a-lite VSC temp probe is also supposed to go on the otherside of the radiator also. There is no difference in the temp probes im sure, just most people dont read the instrucrtions and see where the probe goes.

I have mine on the drivers side and it works fine

macadayear your a jerk. the dc controller goes on the outlet side of the radiator per the manufacture.if you had one you would see that. it is a different type probe than the vsc. the resistance levels are different and a different design. and the temp settings are different also. maybe you ought to go on there sight and read the instructions. DOH. they put it there since the temp readings are more stable. damn mac get your head out of your a** and read the instructions yourself.

uuhhh. i didnt put it in *******. the person that built it put it in. and it is perfectly fine to do so. it works great.the person that built my tranny and the diff is the same one that builds them for a very reputable place here in town and all of them have the same. no problems. man what a winer. you said it goes in the other side. no it doesnt. vsc probe goes in the inlet side of the radiator. the dc controller goes in the outlet side of the radiator. the dc controller has settings in which concurr to you mounting it on the outlet side in which cooler temps exist.if you mount it on the other side it will not work correctly du to it being set for different temps by jumpers instead of a variable screw adjustment. man. my diff works great, what does my diff have to do with a fan controller.

ok now. i can read your post and still get the same thoughts. but i guess i didnt have to go that far. sorry. dc controller is set by jumpers. lower temps. vsc is varable. flex wants you to put it on the drivers side according to there instructions. the dc controller goes on the other side since its settings are different. the prode is different also not like the vsc. its coated and reads different resistance. yay i did wakeup on the wrong side. sorry buddy. my bad. but i do believe that if you look around opn other sights even randy's ring and pinion they use synthetics also. my diff works good. man leave my rear end out of this. its all good pickin dude.
