Default am i good for 3" true duel?

im trying to figure out how to make 11's on motor. im coming up with a ported fast 90/90 and true duel 3" exhaust. i dont want to lose my low end though. i was thinking about going to the track and unbolting everything right at the headers and seeing how it acts. that would be LOUD hahaha.

I wouldn't say that you NEED it... but I'm sure your top end will see a gain.

BTW, why is this in the Dodge exhaust section?

There is a chart around here that shows pipe size/hp relationship for single and dual exhasut. iirc dual 3" was good for ~500-600hp

oh, and I moved this for ya

I dont think it'll be a gain right now? but thats just me,,, i f you 60's were alot better I would then, cause it would really suck to loose some bottom end?

right now its pacesetters, the old style pacesetter ory into a 18" bullet into corsa dumped. the old style corsa Y pipe looks like it would flow like crap.

heres my 3in duals i made..it has a corsa xpipe, some bullet style mufflers i made, with some turn downs that have some cone mufflers inserts i welded inside of them..if i were you, id do it anyways..even if you dont need it now you will need it sooner or later..when i went from 2.5 duals to 3 in duals the upper end felt alot better

i'd say a 3" y pipe setup and just run a 3" cutout before the muffler.
