that sounds like a temp mix door actuator for the drivers side, IIRC it is by the drivers feet up under the dash on the a/c box

Thank you man!!!

I had an issue with the ac turning off randomly while going down the road. Sometimes it would run no problem for 30 minutes or so, other times I couldn't get it to blow cold at all during a 30+ minute drive. I popped the hood and noticed the compressor was turning on and off real fast sometimes, or once in a while, or not at all depending on different times I turned the car on.

I took the truck (01 Blazer) to a friends shop and we checked the computer with a tech 2 and it was reading fine at the time, we then checked the pressure and it was perfect. I figured my compressor was going bad. I got to searching on here early this morning and found this post. I jumped the harness off that goes to the accumulator and it has worked perfectly since then. A buddy has an extra sensor so I am going over there to get it in a few hours.

Search worked great for me this time and I am posting for others that might search and find this!

Later,
Nick
