Default Vortec Heads

I've heard in some forums that there are 2 different type of L31 Vortec heads out there. 12558062<triple hump> & 10239906<single hump> I've been told to stay away from the 906 head that the better of the 2 is the 8062. I pulled my heads off my 355 to have the heads re~worked (heads have been re-worked before, just want the upgrade for the larger roller cam) new valves, springs, retainers, studs....Upon inspecting and gathering the pt #'s I realized I have one each of these pt numbers(heads). Is this true about the 8062 being the better one? So should I send both pt numbers out to be re-worked or buy a new bare 8062 and have a matched set go to have the machine wk done?

anyone have some suggestions on the machine wk I need to do on these heads? ie-valve size, springs, studs, etc, roller rocker sizing

These will be going on my "new stock L31 5.7" with a new roller cam setup w/ roller rockers.
