If somebody would give me an idea where to look on the head for a casting number, I may be able to help with the number confusion. I have a 2003 Escalade that is supposed to have the higher horse version of the 6.0L(LQ9 I think). Anyway, I am willing to take a peak and see what the head casting numbers are, if they are easy to see.
