Would ported/polished heads really help my truck?

Would Ported & Polished heads really help out my truck? I might have this done in the near future. Just wondering if would benefit the cam a whole lot? How much power would it be worth with my mods? Thanx.

with a cam ported heads show more gain, with a stock motor and p/p heads there is usually little gain. maybe 15 rwhp from heads alone...
