Has anyone done 6.0 heads on a 5.3L. I was wondering what kind of mods id have to do to fit them, and run them in conjuction with my S/C. Any Ideas??????

i heard that everything from a 6.0 will fit on the 5.3 since they are almost identical blocks.

same thing with the ls1 camaro's, most of the mods done for those will also work for the 5.3

I doubt you will see any eye-popping gain with just stock replacement heads. Now if you P/P them add some Comp springs and Valve job that would give a nice increase. Yes they will bolt right up w/o any modifications.

if you do a search this has been asked a few times before.

basically if you dont get work done to them you will actually lose power because of the larger comustion chamber. they do flow a little better, and im not sure if your looking to lower your compression to run more boost or not, but im not sure how much the larger chamber would end up lowering your compression.
