Alright, Tony finally inspired me to clean my truck up and get some nice shots of it. I also snapped two shots of the K&N FIPK installed for those interested. Check out the plush leather, too.

LOL! Yeah, I had to get my picture in w/ my truck somehow. That's not dust you're seeing on the intake cover. That's, ummm, your cataract or something. I NEVER let dust get in the engine compartment! The octane booster has been guarding my pass.-side cupholder for a few weeks now. I bought it for the SS but have yet to even get it out of the truck.
Thanks for the compliments guys!

Looks good Trevor, I had no idea your truck was Storm Gray from those old pictures because all I saw was the pewter bumper top and thought it was all pewter.
One thing that annoys me about the GM two-tone trucks is that they do not paint the bottom of the tailgate to match the rest of the body. I wonder why the hell GM does that, it would look so much more "complete" if they would just finish it all the way around.
I've got the trailering suspension too, how much of a difference does the regular suspension feel like? All I know is that this truck rides very smooth and tight, and has hardly any road noise. I like that!

Cataract, I'm not THAT old yet. Loosing hair, yes sight, no.
Tony, I think the only diff on the trailering suspension is the shocks are upgraded.

I TOTALLY agree, and I've said the same thing. It comes down to less time and expense. Like it would be SO hard to paint the bottom strip of the tailgate.
Neil - Ya damn right I am! I wait for the 16-year-olds girls to come out with their new clothes, and then I ask them to try them on.
BigTex - If it makes any difference, it's my 2nd new one. Both '99's were bought used. I definitely plan on keeping this one a little longer. Another truck won't be considered until this one is paid off in 3.5 years. Then we'll have to re-evaluate to see what new stuff the General has given us.
