Yes, inch pounds.

Here's what the bolts look like. Do I have the right bolts? I got them from another member. Maybe they're not for this particular intake.

At 89 in/lbs, the bottom shoulder of the spacers is in contact with the head. At 30, it is not.

Here is torqued to 89.

This is only 30 in/lbs.

I pulled one of the bolts out of my truck. They're identical. Also, I believe the bolts pictured in my manual are the same. You just can't see the rubber isolators with the picture being taken from directly above.

But I figured out what it is. I think it's due to the heads being milled .035". If I put a small washer on the end of the bolt, it works fine.

I'll either put blue loctite on them, and set them how they need to be, or I'll get 10 washers of the right thickness. Easy peasy. Just wanted to figure out what was going on.

I got the fuel rail spacers made tonight. These are stainless steel. It's good to have a machinist for a friend.

I measured my adjustable pushrod, and I ordered the correct size Preload will be .050"-.065". 7.350" PRs would have pushed me to .088" preload.

Looking good b, those spacers are really nice. I forgot that you're using the TBSS manifold...now I remember why you needed spacers with your 8.1 injectors

I just ordered my Black Bear tune. I'll be pulling the truck into the garage tonight and pulling the PCM. Any recommendations on what my shift points and rev limiter should be? I don't want to rev this thing to the moon looking for every last ounce, at the expense of long term reliability. My current tune is set to 6000 shifts. I am willing to go a little higher than that. So it boils down to, what's a reasonable minimum shift point for this setup?

I'll bet that you could shift at 6300 and still be pulling no problem...you could shift higher if you wanted, but I'd guess around 6300 as a min...

I was gonna say 6500rpm for being up there. My black bear is the 3rd setting for shift pressure and it tops into gear pretty good...maybe to mcuh for some people
