Cant do roadrunner, blackbox not as good or load tunes directly without a laptop with a V1 or do a complete reflash.

Your front O2 sensors are wierd looking, Ive got an 01 too and all the sensors Ive gone through have a round end not the cylindrical type like yours.

I believe these are original, with 78K miles on them. I don't believe they're my problem though since it does it cold.

I've got a laptop, so no concerns there. I sent him a PM, so we'll see what happens.

The nice thing is you can just keep your EFI cable in the glove box with another tune loaded on an SD card so if youre out on the road and get a bad tank of gas or want to run lower octane for a road trip you simply hook up the V2 cable and flash in the new tune no laptop needed. Im sure youve looked at the comparison between V1 and V2 on their site. V1 really isnt needed for the casual user, the only real reason to begin with I got V2 was because at the time I had an 06 lbz dmax and the V1 cant do injectors.

Any ideas what's causing the bucking and backfiring when I first try to take off with it as in the video? It did not do this until 70 miles in. It does it in both open and closed loop when first started. This vid was taken after the battery had been unhooked for several hours to clear the PCM memory.

The reason it's bucking and stalling is because your AFR is all screwed up.

You need EFI v1 and a wideband and it will run just like stock.

They look like Denso sensors, they're just as good, if not better than the older OEM style.

My Denso's don't like my big headers though, not enough heat to keep them happy.
