the short block swaps right over. you can reuse your intake, headers, coils, etc. you will, however, want the LQ9 injectors (or bigger). you can even reuse your accessories.

You can use any injectors from a 4.8 to a 6.0, except for 1999, which has smaller injectors. I believe that the 99 flows 19 lb/hr, and the 00 and up flow 24.7 lb/hr. If you're planning a mild cam, I have a set of 31# 8.1 injectors that I will sell you for $125 plus shipping. I bought them a few years ago and never used them, and I will be using a bigger cam than I had at first, so I will need the larger 8.1 42# marine injectors. Shoot me a PM if interested

GMFS in the house!

I am starting to piece together my 6.0 swap. Still waiting to find a deal on a block.

If I understand correctly, I can use all my 5.3 parts, but will need to buy bigger injectors and have to re-tune my PCM?
