If I were going to buy one new and or order it, I would definately go for the 6.2. Just remember you can only get it in the crew cab. But you can get the Vortech Max in the king cab regular and short bed.

 

DEFINATELY worth any extra money the 6.2 is amazing! my friend has one and the dealer also had to travel a long ways to pick it up. As soon as he got it he put a flowmaster on it and had it tuned at THUNDER RACING and the truck is incredibly fast. its fully loaded 4x4 and we got on the interstate one day (keep in mind the truck is 4dr,4x4, and we had the truck loaded with 4 adults) and a 03 mustang GT got beside us and punched it so my buddy punched it to see if we could catch him and we started to slowly but sure real the gt in it was AWESOME hahaha the guy in the GT rolled his windows up and stayed away from us haahaha

 

thanks thats what i wanted to know im going to order a new 2010 gmc with the 6.2 i was going to buy a used diesel because all my buddy have one and they tell me how much better they are then gas but i dont see it plus they sound like crap and what i was going to pay for a used diesel i can buy a new truck i had a 2000 5.3 just wanted to make sure that it as worth it the new 2010 you can get in a ecsb and thats what im going to order
