I was squeezing it together on the filer the type of filer I was using is the wheel type and it is designed to file both sides of the ring. There is nothing wrong with doing it this way many many people have done it with rgeat success it looks there was just a crack already in it or weak metal there either way it shouldnt have snapped they are plasma moly rings.

This is going to be fun I just started looking at all the wires in the engine bay and realized I pulled the engine almost 3 months ago, so its going to fun remembering where they all go

Yeah I hope so I talked to 2bseen on this board he has on 03 SSS with a 408 and the same cam basically that I got and he said he spins all four through first on the street on motor
So you can imagine what mine is going to be like if I sprayed a 250 shot which or course it would be phased in through the top of first and then hit hard a little ways into second but damn sounds like on the street Im jsut going to be spinning till around 70

sounds like some fun times are coming. do you guys have those used tire places around where you live? we do around here and you can get a set of tires for like 50 bucks. you could have some fun with an extra set of wheels.
