He watched TV and drank beer for 6 hrs!
What he doesn't know is when cleaning the block, the carb cleaner ate off some of his "pretty paint job" around the timing cover!

sorry dude forgot about your post. Gas mileage will probably be in the single digits. This motor is going to be pushing 600 at the crank performance and gas mileage dont really mix man. This isnt going to be my DD so I can deal with the mileage. No it wont pass emissions My truck is registered in AL where there arent any emissions testing even though I live in TX most of the time but it allows me to do what I want to with my engine like am now and no cats and cant get a ticket for it

Wow, I've never broken a ring on the filer before. Were you pinching it together to file both sides of the ring or something??? I only do one side at a time... I wonder if that was the reason yours broke???

I was squeezing it together on the filer the type of filer I was using is the wheel type and it is designed to file both sides of the ring. There is nothing wrong with doing it this way many many people have done it with rgeat success it looks there was just a crack already in it or weak metal there either way it shouldnt have snapped they are plasma moly rings.
