to get rid of the timing drop i coppied some of gmcski's tables. he had it and got rid of it somehow so i did what he did. most of the changes were in the torque control section. i didin't touch the spark retard limit.

i had to kill the vid, prety much killed all of the videos till the end of the year, i used up all 300gig of my bandwidth.

i have a trashed front diff here from a 2500 just to look at. it is from an HD, the unit does look strong and i would love to put it in there but it wouldn't be a bolt in at all. the flanges are larger, the case is larger and worst of all the flanges are 2" farther apart. i need to get under a 2500LD and see what it looks like under there. a front locker would be bad ***.

That would be cool. I know of a few guys with Juiced Duramaxes that have busted their tie rods doing 4-high launches. The extra weight over the front from the Diesels gives it enough traction to do that. Slicks on the front will create similar forces. Might want to look into something custom for rods and ends. The worst part about breaking those is not the cost in the parts to fix, it's where the truck comes to a stop without control.

Just wanted to give some you some mad props for all you have accomplished with your truck while keeping the stock appearance. The documentation on your website kicks *** too. Congrats. Hope you can make it down to Kc this spring.

You should have no trouble getting it to 60ft on the track in 2wd if you want. Trying to od it on the street would be another thing though.

Have your IAT's at higher RPM seem to be higher then before? I bet your spinning that turbo well into the point of it not being efficient as it used to be. This might cause some KR problems.

from what i understand the hd's can avoid breaking tierods just by droping the truck so there is little or no angle on the tierods, that is my plan for the entire front end, keep the tierods and cv's as flat and strait as i can. not sure i that alone will help my 60' but it should be a little stronger alowing me to use stickier tires.

we will be hiting kc again next year some time. it's just too close and too much fun not to go there again.

i am sure the turbo is not ideal for what i am doing but it is real cold here and my iat's are not high at all. something like 25deg to start and 60deg at the end of a run.
