Sounds good. I think it gets pretty damn hard to knock of those tenths when you get into the 10's. Makes it seem easy to do it in the 11's. That short block should support a 9 second pass...with enough juice lol.
I think the cal-tracs are worth the bank, I could not belive the diffrence. I have said it a million times and here I go agian. 1.51 60ft on 235/60's, with the 96'.

Any new video coming soon? Those G-techs look awsome, but the heads, stock manifold, and tiny 3" down pipe are really holding that thing back.

You need at least a good mid-length, or shorty on the driverside. Of course a custom tuned length 1 7/8" primary header over there would be nice. And you could use just a 4" down pipe off a wrecked semi, and use the flex 4" tubeing to do your bends. You could probibly get it all for less than $100.

damnit ron why you give my ideas away. i need to get my show on the road get this **** going.
i've got some ideas drawn out for some long tube equal length turbo headers that would be nice for high hp applications. give nice spool for if you get a t88 for that thing.

i dont think the drivers side exhaust manifold is hurting me at all right not. the log style manifold might be hurting me a little but who knows for sure. i think a 4" down pipe and seperate wg will make a prety nice diference.

Now it all the little tiny things that you didnt take in consideration before that gonna make a big differance. Jim, that one hell of a truck you got on your hands there. Someday I wish to build a monster like you did. Everytime I read one of your threads about your truck it makes me realize how slow mine is. Hopefully you will get that thing to hook up and run a 9 second pass. Also are your axles differentals and transfer case gonna take the extra hp? Also what gears do you have in it? I think you are on the right path having to use 4 slicks. Your gonna give Johnny Lightning a run for his money pretty quick.

did a little more tuning tonight. there was a small math problem with the mega software that they just fixed and it allowed me to get the max resolution on the VE table. now that that is fixed i decided to try a few things like turning on the 02 corection. it is very cool and seems to work well. i will get some logs soon and post up some screen shots but basicaly you tell it what a/f ratio to shoot for at what map reading and what rpm. i have it set for 11.8 anytime i am over 50% throttle. that is a little rich for the lower boost setting and i will work on rolling into that a/f ratio.

for idle and part throttle you just tell it what your 02 switching point is and it adjusts to get there. it does a prety good job. i tell it i want 14.7 and it holds it within +or- .3 of that. then you tell it what map or tps to switch over to the afr targeting. prety sweet!

i also changed a bunch of tables with edit to get rid of the launch timing drop and it got rid of it. now with the boost controler off and a max of 8psi it will rip all 4 loose till 20mph. it is cold and the tires are not griping the best but i have to say this thing is nuts off the line. i am going to just pull out my nitrous bottle for awhile, i may never need it again so why carry the extra 25lbs.

talked to the motor builder and he thinks the KR i am seeing at over 10psi is probably real and that is the limit of pump gas. seems reasonable, i am maxing the maf so it is at least a little ways over 500rwhp.

i also shut off all the diagonsistic tests that set off the ses light, tired of people mentioning that silly little light.

i bumped the idle down to 875rpm and it runs much better. it like 875 better than 950 for sure. i think at 950 it is starting to pull a little but not at 875. it is quieter and smoother at 875 too. i might try 850 or 825 sometime but i am real close to the idle that it is going to end up at.

What did you do to get rid of the launch timing drop? Right now I have my spark retard limit set high until just above my stall speed to get rid of it. Is that what you did?

Parish, can you set up the vid again?
It was down when I tried it.
As always, awesome truck, and you're crazy
Are you still running the stage 4(or 5)FLP tranny that you've had for a while?
Be safe. Merry Christmas to all of you

have you thought of installing a 2500hd front dif. its the 9.25 and you can get an actual locker for it i've looked into the locker for the 8.25 diff theres not one they say it will break it if you lock it in a tight spot. just some thought to make sure your getting 4wheel spin and not just 3
