Default 4.8 mods noobe

ok check it out i have a 04 silverado ext cab 4wd 4.8. auto
future plans 6inch lift 36"tires 4.56 gears lockers front and rear. now to make all this move. i'm building a intake now and hopefully installing some fans tommorow. allready bypassed the coolant lines in throttle body and removed maf screen. now what about cams exhaust headers ect....
daily driven would like to take to track every once in a while. will probably be used to pull my wife's car (when built). i thought about eaton superchager. but not sure couse if i can get good power na would be ok too. thanks for any help. i've been searching but getting tired of reading there is so much stuff. i'm getting back to the v8s its been a while. not really engine retarded just v8 retarded. theres a little diff between what i've been doing and what i want to do now to this truck. but i don't really want to tell what i've been building cuzz of all the pun. just wanna turn my new truck into a beast. and learn some on this new field of things. i like to race and my wife likes to race. thanks again for the help if you need any more info just ask.

Yank the motor and put in a 6.0L
or you could build that beast of a 4.8L you got into a head turner.
Not that I would do that

i see you registered. Did you check out Thunder Racings cams? I dont know how deep your pocket goes, but a good stall convertor (3000 TCI for @$450), a good mid cam like either the high lift 212/218 or the TR 220/220 would be nice. Not to sure it would sound like mine, but it would kill all the Hemi's and a few of the Mudstain GT's.

Have you looked into a good exhaust yet? Flowmaster excluded cuz they suck *****. Your wife may like the Gibson super truck cat back. There $289, flow like crazy, and sound pretty agressive. I finaly saw the truck this morning when i drove by, i like the color.

Let me know when your ready to start moding the **** out of it. I've blown alot of money on worthless bolt ons, so maybe i can point you toward the good stuff right off.
