Turbo too small?

Default Turbo too small?

Is this turbo too small for a 4.8 with ls6 cam. My friend said he picked it up for a project but never used it. Figured if it would work for a 4.8 project I'd give it a shot. I attached a screenshot from my friend of the specs.

What would happen if I did use it on a 4.8?

i cant even see it, so yeah, id say its too small

It's way too small... Would maybe be ok for a mild twin setup.

Good to know. Thanks. What should I look for in specs for a mild setup ? Not looking for anything huge, just something fun to try out.

How much do you wanna spend? There are some really nice turbos that are in the 66-76mm range that can put down some serious power.

Then there's turbos like the Master Power/Magnum/On3 brands that are inexpensive and will put down decent power as well. Which considering you are staying mild is what I would go with.

Would be pretty capable as a set of twins. But on the 4.8 alone I'd only expect like 5psi...

No idea about the pricing, budget is kind of open ended (buy parts as I need them mostly). For the 66-76mm, is that in relation to the compressor trim ?

oh, that doesnt sound like much. Could the stock fuel system handle 10psi? I was thinking around 10psi would be a good start. and what size turbo for 10psi ?

It's always too small, you can never have big enough.
