Default 317 heads question

I am about to do a cam swap on my truck, (03 lq4 aluminum 317 heads) and I bought 3/8 diameter pushrods but today I was told they might not clear the hole in the head. anyone have any input on this.. if they don't this might be a sign to pull heads get the P&P and decked with new lifters
but on the serious note would they clear the holes in the head?
Thanks in advance!!

For anyone curious, 3/8 pushrods would fit trough 317 heads just the clearance is very small so you would have to bore the hole out to be safe.
