Default 3.73 locker

I know we just had a huge thread about gears and such, but here's my question. I am going to convert from the 3.42 open to 3.73 locking with used factory parts. The only yard around here that has the gears and differential had some low mileage parts out of a 2000 and he said $300. That doesn't include an installation kit but he can get me one of those too. Is that a good price in your opinions?

A new G80 is about $400 I think and 3.73's are at least $150.
