Exactly, that is why I think that my lowend torque would go to **** because the SS is a heavy *** bitch.

I think that I will probably just stay with the cam I have besides I really need to spend the money on some longtubes which will probably add just as much power as that bigger cam would.

that's true. that cam you have will really benefit from those longtubes. hope it works out good for you.

I've got 224/224 .581/.581 112 in my VHO and I like it a lot. Once I got my lt's it felt like I got some torque back. I need to get it dynoed and see.

TR224 will kill low end torque in a 6.0? you think? iwas looking at that cam with all the bolt ons i thought it would run good.?

With a 3000 stall the definition of 'low end' changes, doesn't it? The floor (normal driving) becomes 2000-2500 RPM's instead of 1500-1600 RPM's, and the ceiling (flash stall) becomes ~3200 RPM. You kinda skip right through what 'low end' is for a lot of people.
