Ok i also read ill need these items to go from v6 to V8 and looking at a LS2

Refrigeration lines
Fuel lines
radiator/efans
radiator and heater hoses
4L80 crank spacer if new enough to keep OE v6 tranny
or swap bell housing and front pump on existing tranny
v8 transmission dipstick tube
Harness pcm/tcm thats exact year of vehicle to keep gremlins to a minimum
motor mounts.

If you go 6 speed and want to keep tap shift gotta go to uplevel bcm and swapcluster and shift handle and flash for appropriate year model and options closeto existing truck.
reflash fuelpump control module for v8 truck
The E38 and the E67 ECMs are both only used on 58x Gen IV V8 engines (as well as 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder applications).

You'd be money ahead by selling your 2013 and buying a rcsb with a v8 already in it. I don't think you realize all the work and money involved in this swap.

The computer in my '03 is a slow piece of ****. I would never swap a newer computer for an older one.

Also, there is a box that will allow the computer for a newer engine work with a 24x reluctor wheel. Lingenfelter makes one, not sure who else.
