Lol, technically you could... But it would be more work than its worth. I've done it before, but the other way around.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this. If i have the engine, harness and computer from the 03 2500 ( LQ4 GenIII ) truck why can't i put it in my 2013 truck. I thought the computer runs the engine. Guess my main question is why i see people putting LS base engine of all years in muscle car, classic car and older trucks ( pre 90 ) but i can't put it in a newer truck? Thanks

Your truck is to new to run the 99-07 harness. To many computers that use signals from your PCM now. People take the the harness you have and make it a stand alone to work in older stuff that don't need abs and body control inputs and outputs. You need to find a 07 and up gmt 900 harness and buy a new motor with a 58x wheel or have your 6.0 changed to 58x but that's done from a machine shop.

I should have reworded that a little diff. Not bigger problems. Just other problems But fuel lines will be different not a big deal. I'm sure there might be a couple little things but nothing that's not doable.

Maybe i should have point that out. I plan on changing the fuel line and changing the fuel pump in the tank. I have about 3 or 4 damaged trucks to take parts off like mentioned about plus A/C comp, all front drive parts and cable style TB. Thanks for ALL the comments i do really appreciate it.

PCM uses signals from abs and bcm. They all work through can. I have not compared diagrams side by side but I can bet there is a lot of wires that are in different locations.
