What do I have to change to make this work??

I know the 99 is cable operated and the 07 is DBW. Can I put the 99 intake on the 2007 engine?

What else needs to be changed?

I just looked at your thread and you did the 4.3 swap.

I have a 4.8 in the truck I'm working on.

I do know where there is a cheap 4.3 shortbox truck though.................

 

no i HAD a 4.3 i swapped in a Gen IV 5.3 using your 24x ecm system. aka the same thing YOU want to do I did but in an older truck.
follow the steps that apply to you such as the lifters head gaskets tb if you wanna tun the 90mm if not swap to your old intake. move the knock sensors like i did an run the 58x to 24x conversion module.
