The 90mm I think is fine on a 6.0 or similar, but on a 427 that would see gains NA from a 102, I think it will also see gains with a turbo. Same can be said for a 6.0 swapping from a 78mm TB and intake to the 87mm TB and intake. I haven't heard of issues with blow through compressors (centrifugal supercharger or turbo) with the 102mm throttle bodies. That doesn't mean they don't exist, but I haven't seen them first hand.
If it was my truck, I think I would still try the X link and 102 boosted. The velocity of air moving past the throttle blade will be much slower than what Pat was dealing with on his 370 and 2300 TVS. The density and air volume will be far greater, but something tells me its the velocity that plays a more significant role in the throttle blade fluttering. Thats just a hunch though.
