Default Reliable 102mm DBW throttle body?

Looking for a 102mm TB to match up with my FAST 102 intake. I have heard nothing but negative things from people that have installed aftermarket DBW throttle bodies. Anyone have input on if I should stick w/ a ported TB off a vette or spend the ridiculous coin(a Nick Williams 102mm DBW= $575!!!) on a 102mm? If so, which brand? Nick Williams is the only 102mm DBW I have found.

as far as i know thats the only one that i have found! i've had conversations with people at FAST about making a DBW 102mm, didnt get a good feeling that they wanted to go that route. But i guess i feel if all the newer cars (2010 camaro?) have DBW, then why not? But 575 bucks is all that bad... BBM from summit for 90mm is $350+/-

I'm coming to the conclusion that the knowledge in the aftermarket just is not where it needs to be in order to produce these things reliably yet, I guess I'll wait 'em out.

It seems like someone coming out with an intake manifold for a five barrel carb before the carb is available. Go Figure.

Possibly look into the 102mm TPIS unit like supersub is running. From all accounts he feels these are the best large bore electronic throttle bodies on the market and I wouldn't take his recommendation lightly.

I just picked up a 90mm for 160 off ebay and an adapter to smooth the flow into the fast.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

unless your going for crazy goals. I would rather save a few $$

Did this 90mm work for you? What's it off of? Is the connector 6 or 8 pin for the new one and your stock? I'm running into DBW throttle body issues in my 04 denali.
