the L guys have no problem pulling 1.5s on a slick. a few are even in the 1.49 and below but are light trucks. that is on cheap azz slapper bars or ranchero bars. lol . to keep the 4wd system i think it is gonna be some parts breakin learning curve going on. just my .02

That's what I'm thinking. I can see the whole front axle come out from under the truck if you do a a nice burnout anchored to something. If not then, then maybe on the laucnh. Just be sure to get it on film!

i think the front will hold lower 1.6's all day long IF i keep it nice and smooth. no idea if it will hold anything more than that. when i kill it i will find a way to make it stronger.

i am 99% sure they make adjustable shocks for out trucks. there were a couple of sy/ty guys that mentioned shocks but not all of them. the caltrac's and front end limiters seem to be a standard.

oh, i wouldn't try the 4 wheel burn out unless i was first able to get a 2500 front diferential under there.

Darn ... I was hoping for some good video footage of a front differential flying down the track.

I don't think a 4 wheel burnout will help your launch,I do think that the Cal-Tracs adjusted their maxumum anti-squat setting is the key to pulling a good 60' time.I would'nt bother with limiting front suspension travel, because that would invite front wheel hop at your power level.I would lower the truck to reduce frontal area to help your trap speed.I would drop it with drop spindles in front and adjustable coilover shocks in the rear.

yep, i am planing on doing a 4 point in cab with a harness and see if they let me slide with that. going to do drive shaft loops and tranny shield too. to be legal down to a 10flat i would need the rear bars. scribner is prety lax on the rules so i bet they let me slide with a 4 point. tint the windows and it will still look prety much stock.

i can't remember if there are any other requirements for the 10.00-11.99 ET range. maybe a fire jacket.

there ya go tint the windows like i have 35% down the WHOLE windshield and 5% all the way around even over the factory. no one knows who is in there! But i think you are right as far as safty goes but i think it is when you hit the 9's you are required to have a fire suit if i am correct.

Sounds like you got quite the winter planned. if i can help in any way let me know. My dad has a full welder and torch and i know the owner of a tint shop here in lincoln to help get ya hooked up if ya need it. just let me know.
