They would "work" if you hard wire them in, as the harnesses offered by Nelson and BlackBear come with either LS1, LT1, or 05 efan connectors, and you'd have to cut them off and connect the wires to the pigtails coming off of those fans. Those fans look a little small and cheesy though, I wouldn't trust them to cool my truck down. Not sure what size the LS1 or 05+ fans are, but they definitely look bigger than those with thicker blades. Save up your dough and get yourself some LS1 fans, or 05 fans and a 34" radiator if you can wait to save up the extra scratch for the new radiator, just my .02.

do you have to replace the radiator on ls1 or lt1 fans? or is that only on 05+ fans

That is only for 05+ fans as they are 34" and 99-02 are 28"...You need two 14" fans if you want to do it the way you mentioned...make sure you get quality fans (spal, flexalite, permacool, etc.)

03 5.3 efans question-e-fans9.jpgi just did the exact same thing to the caddy and works flawless(so far lol!) i used 2 pro-comp(a knock off of something I'm sure) 16'' fans and a nelson harness. like the other guy said, use the biggest fans you can- my fans only have about 1/2'' in between them and on either side and only miss about 3/4''-1'' at the bottom practically covers entire radiator. main reason i did this instead of factory fans is more room in front of the motor. I'm totally with the people that say you get what you pay for, but i only paid $50 bucks for them and i dont think they will both go bad ad the same time.

Absolutely...You want the Flexalite #298...which are dual 13 1/2" fans mounted in a shroud (28")..the shroud makes sure the air gets pulled over all of the surface area of the radiator and helps avoid "hotspots" ..

if you have a 28" rad then just go to a salvage yard and find a set of LS1 or taurus/markVIII fans for ~$50 max. i got a set of LS1 fans and controller installed for $130 installed.
