why is my truck so bouncy?

how much is it lowered? are those stock shocks? from what i can see in the 1st pic it looks like the bump stops are sitting on the rear end..which mean the suspension doesnt have anywhere to move which is why your ride is so harsh.

Yup, it's riding the bump stops and it's got shorter shackles in it. They don't look the factory length to me.
Needs a C-notch or flip the axle back over and do shackles/hangers to get 4in drop in the rear.

so what you have here.
flip kit using stock u bolts and brackets. never seen this done before.
leaf with parts missing
riding on bump stops
cut and welded stock shackles to try and lift it again.
i think your best bet would be to replace everything and start over.

Flipped axle, no C-section. So you are riding on the bump stops. I can't see if they welded on the spring perches or if they are just sitting there. If they're welded you are going to have a harder time changing it. I personally would rather have a welded new perch than a flip kit. Also look at the different c-sections. I have a one piece c-section and don't like it.
