Default why is my truck so bouncy?

So I know it's lowered but how and why is the ride so dam hard are all the lead springs there ? Why does it look cut and welded haha

how much is it lowered? are those stock shocks? from what i can see in the 1st pic it looks like the bump stops are sitting on the rear end..which mean the suspension doesnt have anywhere to move which is why your ride is so harsh.

Yup, it's riding the bump stops and it's got shorter shackles in it. They don't look the factory length to me.

Needs a C-notch or flip the axle back over and do shackles/hangers to get 4in drop in the rear.

so what you have here.

flip kit using stock u bolts and brackets. never seen this done before.

leaf with parts missing

riding on bump stops

cut and welded stock shackles to try and lift it again.

i think your best bet would be to replace everything and start over.

cut those bump stops down or buy smaller ones ...i had to drive like that for a while and i was bouncing all over the place....

Flipped axle, no C-section. So you are riding on the bump stops. I can't see if they welded on the spring perches or if they are just sitting there. If they're welded you are going to have a harder time changing it. I personally would rather have a welded new perch than a flip kit. Also look at the different c-sections. I have a one piece c-section and don't like it.
