My tires are looking like hell, I may put it off for a couple more months but I will have to get some before winter really kicks in here!!
What tires are out there for steet driving that have the same height as the stockers? I little wider would be cool too.
I really don't want off road tires because I don't do much off roading except for the occasional gravel road around here. The tire humming bullshit really drags on you when your driving 4hrs straight for work too.
So what's out there???

275/65-16 is what i had on one of my old trucks. i think bf goodrich is the only company that makes that size. it was a great tire but i hear they're about 50 more than what it costed me a few years back. theres a picture of how they look on a stock height truck on my cardomain in my sig

page 2- the red truck

I'd get some Toyos. They make them in 2 different sizes. This is a 275/60/16 here. They make one size larger that comes in at like a 31.5'' I believe.
In this picture the front tires are the stockers and the rears are the toyos.

*Tread pattern rocks
*Stock height
*275mm width looks sweet
*Better traction
*No road noise
*$100/tire

I really like them.

I am curious of this. I was thinking either 285/60/16 for my stock wheels or putting some denali 17 wheels and putting 285/60/17. The 285/60/17 are right at the same as stock heigth.

I want it to look about the same but i really dont need the tires to be 285 wide

I jsuty dont want a massive gap in my wheel well

If you are running stock wheels and want something that is the same height as your 285s, then a 255/85-16 is what you would be looking for. They are not as common as the 75 series in truck tires but they do make them. The only prob is that they are usually only in a mud terrain tire. Check out BFGs website, go to the Mud Terrains and click tire specs. There you will be able to compare tire height, aspect ratios and suggested wheel width. Hope this helps.
