Default What size of slick

Dont really know what size of slick i should go with....the following are my mods...by the way the wheels i have ar for the slicks are 16"

tr 220/220 cam
CAI
e-fans
tuned by tiburon
lt headers
3" y pipe
gibson catbak exhaust
built tranny
3400 stall
3.90 gears/posi

You could get a drag radial if you would like to hook on the street.

For track use i would recommend the Hoosiers. they stick and they are fair priced.

Look for something 27,28" tall

Wider the better!

26" or 27" e/t street slicks... 28s will kill your topend.

28's will help his topend lol He would trap a higher MPH.

With his stall and gear i think he would stay within his power band to benefit from a slightly larger tire.

really? I've been told different.. well I trapped 103.82 w/26s, can't wait to see wat I'll trap w/28s this Friday.

With a 3400 stall and 3.90 gears I would go with at least a 28'' tall tire if not the M&H cheater slick which is 30'' tall that is what I run youre gonna need a lot of bite with that high of a stall.

If traction is not an issue, I would go with 26'. Good luck with whatever you decide.

26's and 27's didn't do it for my 5.3 and I had a 3k stall. I would do the Hoosiers 28's 16x10".
