Default What size DR/slicks should I run

I am trying to decide what size slicks/DR to run on my truck. The truck has around 450hp with 3.73 gears. End goal is 1000ish hp with a 4 link. I think I am going to stick to a 10.5" wide tire, but the height is what is confusing me. Let me know what you think

Depends on what trap speed you think you will end up at, and 1/8th or 1/4 racing. You could probably get away with a 26" tire for 1/8th, but will want at least a 28 if not 30 for 1000hp in the 1/4

I was leaning towards either a 29.5/10.5, 31/10.5, or 31.5/12.5 depending what was suggested on here. I know the white rhino is running a 31.5/12.5 and he has a little more power than my end goals. My end goals is low 10s/high 9s in the 1/4

And by chassis truck you mean? The gears will be changed when the rear end goes. Ford 9" is going in when that happens and will change the gearing to the optimal ratio

If by chassis truck, you mean tube chassis. I would highly recommend you look at his truck more closely. His truck uses stock frame rails that are boxed in. The only thing that helps his truck hook is the added reinforcement by the 12pt cage
