Default What size cam is good with factory TC

Looking for a good camshaft to match up with my 5.3 and stock trans and torque converter. If you have any input please let me know. I am also in need of parts for a cam swap! So any info is more than helpful.

Not what you want to hear, but why limit yourself by the stock converter?? You could get a converter first and then a cam later as the budget allows. Just some food for thought....

IMO. None.... A TOrque converter is one of the funniest mods you can do. Alot more noticeable and fun than a cam

He's right. Get one of theirs. They aren't too expensive and its a great mod. I love mine.

Even the stock cam can benefit from a mild converter IMO...but FWIW, I ran the cam in my sig for years with the factory converter. It's much more fun to drive now that I have a Circle-D 3k verter though
