Default what rpm w/4.10's

Just curious guys. what kind of rpm's are yall running with 4.10's at a cruising speed.....say 60mph.

Im wondering just because i want to be sure I have 4.10s in my truck. I was told they were when i bought them but something doesnt seem right to me.
thanks

i have a 4L60E trans, and 4:10's i think 2300 at 60 or smoething. I know its like 2800 at 80 mph. thats with the stock 245-75-16 tires.

Now the suburban has 3:73 gears, 33. tires and its like 1800 at 60 mph

Stock tires in my stock 2006 seirra I am at 2k going 60mph. I also thought that had to be wrong since I thought it would be higher than that but when I looked into it I found out I had the 4.10's

Yeh, right around 2K at 60. Overdrive must be pretty tall.

how do you live with that? The only thing killing me about going to 4.10s is how noisy the engine will be on the highway. As it is now, I run 1500rpm @ 60mph.

I don't. I don't drive it ANYWHERE near as I used to. I have a company truck now, so my truck only sees driving time on the weekends (or nights once I am home). But, believe it not, 75mph is 2500rpm and is pretty decent. It sounds fine, besides the gas needle tends to move quick.

there's a sticky at the top of this section that will answer your question.
since rpm is going to be in relation to your tire size and transmission as well.
