Default what gears are you guys running? input please

jw wondering what gears everyone here is running, im about to swap in some OEM 4.10s and see how i like em. and decide if ill stick with them or go lower to 4.56s

my truck is a 97 ECSB 4x4.
i also have a 60E

I'd say it really depends on what size tires your planning on running as to what will be comfortable and what you're willing to live with or want out of your set-up.

I have 4.56's in mine, but my tire height is right at 32" tall, which puts me turning about 2300rpm at 70mph. It's not bad at all, but I wouldn't want to be turning it any higher for a daily driver.

i have 4.56s in mine with 30" tires and turn 2350ish at 65ish...still get 20+mpg

ill probly stay with a overall tire size of 30 inches tall. right now i have 3.42s and its KILLING my launch

i'd probably stick with 4.10 if you just want a fun driver..

you will be good to go with the 4.10's James.

after the track on Sat, my Z71 rear started whining after doing a 30 punch to 90 pulling my truck and trailer. put parts on order yesterday. ordered the eaton lsd, motive 3.73's, master bearing kit, axle bearings, and seals. i wanted to 4.10's but i went a head and stayed 3.73's b/c i would have to change out the ones in the front also.
