Default well i took the converter plunge

Well i walked into MTI today to pick up my T/A performance rear cover and i inveitably spent money. So i had them order my PI Vig 3200 10.5" Triple Disk. So hopefully in 2 weeks or so when it comes in i will be one stalled mother.

Now onto the question of the hour. How long will my 4l60e last behind my stall??? or should i just bite the bullet and order my FLT Level 4 and be done. i was gonna put servos and a shift kit in but i figured i'd be better off in a level 4 for 2 grand instead of 3 new 4l60e's.

Ya'll are the experts so let me know.

I have the level 5 with a 3600 stall, but it depends on your mods, a lot of people are good with the level 4 but honestly, I am tired of eating up 60's

well I'd get one for the mods, you PLAN on... if you get it then outgrow it, thats a lot of money you have to spend to get it up to snuff... if you have ANY doubts, get the lvl 5 and be done with it.

weight is a huge factor in what the tranny goes through. Some of these guys are pushing 5000...even 5500 lbs.

I guess the fact that our truck is pretty light helps out this tranny. it gets beaten HARD on a daily basis and never skips a beat.
