Default welcome FINISH LINE TRANSMISSIONS

i am sure many of you guys know all about FLT but now they are site sponsors so i can and will rave about them every chance i get

me and Chuck go back a few years to my 99 ext cab where he built me a stout 4l60e. that tranny took my 5400lb truck into the 11's at the track and closer to mid 11's on the street. Chuck will be the first to tell you a built 4l60e has it's limits but for many around here it is the way to go.

now on my curent truck i am pushing 1000+(1100+ on one pass ) thru his 4l80e and it has been awsume. i did break the stock input shaft after upgrading to the big turbo and trying to shift it with the converter locked up but he now has a billet shaft avaliable. this tranny has seen 5000+ hard miles and 100+ passes, 30+ passes at the 1000hp level.

chuck is a real hotroder. he wants you to make your truck fast. he wants you to find the new weak link in his trannys so he can make them stronger. his customer service is GREAT and he stands behind what he sells like no shop i have ever seen.

they also have a brand new shop and a new web site that is still being updated, check it out >> http://www.finishlinetrans.com/.

here are some pic's of his shop that kyle took on drag week >> http://www.1320video.com/gallery/dwsaturday

welcome Chuck!!

Way to go Chuck! About time! Chuck is a great guy and knows his stuff. Builds great stuff and stands by his work. His tranny dyno is amazing to watch in action especially when its your transmission. If you are thinking about a rebuild, call him and talk about your plans as he will give you all the detail you can handle.

I can vouch for Parish's comment about wanting you to break it. I saw him when he discover Parish's busted input shaft and you could see the excitement on his face while he was thinking about how he was going to solve that problem. If I'm not mistaken, I think he went with a billet AND cryo treated input shaft for that one????

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I'm glad that we can be part of this fast and ever growing truck community. All you guys are amazing with how fast these trucks are becoming in this high tech industry. Who would ever thought that they could get it handed to them by a truck!!! ( I love those videos on 1320.com) Thanks Parish!!

Just remember as a transmission sponsor you are required to check the drivetrain section daily and answer all transmission related questions free of charge. That should have been in the fine print on the sponsor application.
