What we do in your case is give you a credit for your 60 towards the more expensive core cost of the 80, Will be working on the transmission core charge section of the new web page soon. It usually works out to be about a $300.00 difference.

Chuck builds a really strong transmission and stands behind his product.A FLT 4L80E is the only transmission to hold up to the abuse my Tahoe puts out.Welcome aboard Chuck

It's time to replace my tranny. I'm going with FLT. Will probably order the 4l65E Level 5. With vacuum modulation and billet ouput shaft. Looked at all the major players.

Build me a good one Chuck. I know you'll make it good if something goes wrong but still wouldn't ease the sting of pulling and installing a trans on a 4X4.

Some of you might have read the article I did covering FLT a couple months back, I now have about 8,000 miles on the FLT 4L60e with absolutely no problems. I have towed, autocrossed and racked up a ton of stoplight kills with it and the Vigalante converter.

Hey Chuck do you think a shift kit and performance clutch 80e will last in a 5600# truck with a 550hp NA motor 250 shot with a window switch? A buddy and I are having a discussion about this and since ur the trans guy just wondering what your thoughts were on this.
