it is exactly the same to hook up the speedo on the truck as on the fbody, i have the part #s somewhere around here if you need them. txterm has a VERY nice 400 in his truck from the pics i've seen around. very $$ names on the parts i've seen

i'm in the market for a new converter, i've thought about the neal chance units due to their great adjustability and strength, but they are very $$ for sure. a TCT or YANK th400 verter would work just fine (the TCI unit i have didn't meet my expectations) i'm sure. i want something that hits like the PT4200 did in the 4l60e, but i know that the first gear difference (3.06 for the 4L60E and 2.75 for the TH400) hurts the dig tire hit a ton but still i just want something a little more aggressive then what i have now. what converters do you guys at SpeedWorks carry/recomend/use???

PI is pretty much all we use, unless it is an all out race and then we use Neal Chance.

The truck already has the turbo 400 in it, and made some 11.0 passes. Thats the easy part. Hooking up the speedo in fbody is nothing bad, just wanted to make sure I can use the same parts and procedures to do the same in a truck originally equipped 4l60E

Im a Coan dealer, and the fist 400 I got from them, Ive liked alot more then some of the local stuff weve had built, namely the transbrake works much more smoothlyand predictably.

2tone, what kinda difference do you think in terms of power is there between the F1 head unit your running and say a D1SC at say around 14 psi? Right now the truck Im workign with has a P1SC.. was going to go to the D1... but may just skip it altogether if the case of the F1 will mount up to the same brackets
