Default Turbo400 truck guys inside...

Any of you hook up your speedo/ Is the VSS signal for the trucks originally equipped with the 4L60E the same as the Fbody? If so no reason I cant use the same VSS, reluctor ring, splice into VSS harness that I use on the fbody is there? The output shaft is the same diameter at the VSS housing point to press fit the ring on correct?

Also, any way to remove the column shifter stalk without LOTS of hassle

I'm not seeing the relation to a th400 trans here .. but the 60e in the trucks is the same as the one in the cars if that's what your asking.

To the best of my recollection, there are NO guys around here running the TH400. Although I may be wrong, I think 2toneblown may have just switched to one. Maybe you could PM him.

TCI makes a little computer that goes inline for cable driven speedos so you can hook them to electronic transmissions like the 60e and 80e. Its for retro-fits into older vehicles. Anyway I wonder if they make one or if you could run one backwards so it would convert an electronic signal to a cable so it could be hooked to the little gear in the 400. Also I know for the speedo to be accurate in older transmissions, you have to change the little gear according to your rear end ratio.

Texas terminator runs a th400, c3c5 runs a th350.

I would imagine it's all about the same.
