Default Trouble!!!! Need help asap!!!!

well guys my first trouble with my truck, heres the story

was sitin around b.s with friends at the local hangout spot when i see a black newer body F150 go by with a screamin supercharger , and of course my buddy i outran last night had the comment, bet you wont outrun him, so i jump in my truck and so does my other buddy, well the ford's outa site by now but i dont think nothing of it cause i knew the route he was going, so i jump in my truck and go after him, dont see him so i think maybe he floored it, its a straight away 4 lane road, no cars in sight, so i floor it, hit 120 and ride that for about half a mile, cant find him anywhere so i drop back to 80 and still no luck, so i go to turn around, and when i do i floor it, it drops to 1st and spins, then doesnt want to **** into 2nd , pegs a bit then shifts, and that worried me, so i eased it back to the spot, let it cool down, then took it down the road, under normal throttle, course shifts into 2nd kinda hard cause i have a shift kit and all. well then i floor it, same thing, well i baby it back and notice on the turn around that its not catching 2nd at all, you cant even feel 2nd, then i check the fluid, seems fine, i crank it and let it run and check while runnin, looks bone dry, so i go into walmart and get 2 quarts and pull that in, then let it run and check it, it seems fine, on the way home it keeps having problems, i pull over, fluid is all down the side of the truck, so i clean it all off and keep heading home, on the way the needle kept bouncing like it wanted to shift outa over drive on its on,

SO theres my story, ANY CLUES!?!?!???!!? is it the converter not locking? tranny slipping?? WHAT SHOULD I CHECK!?!??!?! i hope its nothing major cause i dont have alot of money right now

My head hurts.

Fluid all down the side of your truck is one clue to look for leaks.
Outside of that, it could have gotten hot enough on that 120 run that it's finally starting to give up.

I would let my transmission guy test drive it. And you know they never fix them selves.

youre leaking somewhere.... the RPM jumping in OD is the converter trying to unlock due to the solenoid not getting adequate fluid...

dont drive it low of fluid!!!! perfect way to burn one up!!

i was at 120 in 3rd gear for about a quarter of a mile probably if even that probably not even that, im about to pull it on the ramps and see if its leaking anywhere. i pray that thats the problem, like i said 3rd is still hitin like it always does but 2nd isnt doing nething at all basically. could it possiblely be that it just got so hott runnin that fast that the fluid blew out?

2-4 band is toast for sure.
Park it before you do more damage.
