well if thats the prob i can get one for 120 "my special price" haha. and can get the tranny serviced for 90. what about the not wantin to shift and all? would that be because it basically didnt have fluid? my buddy said his tranny acted like that once and he put fluid in and it worked fine so would it be because the lack of fluid?

Becareful to much fluid will kill that tranny real fast.If it close to the line say within an 1/8" do not add.

1/4 mile at 120 is 7.5 seconds. I agree that the radiator couldn't handle the amount of pressure being pushed through it and broke something. I had that happen on a dyno once. The bottom driverside corner of my radiator blew out.
Yes. the slipping is because the pressure is bleeding off into the radiator and it doesn't have enough pressure left to shift or for the converter to engage.

I'm pretty sure Vince said OVERHAULED not SERVICED LOL.... you need to go through that thing more than a flush and filter if you got coolant in it. I'd do it anyway at this point since youve had problems and possible contamination.

Dude if your going to be doing any racing you might as well get you a built tranny. Our sponsers build bad *** trannys. If you are going to fix the one you have carry it to a tranny shop you dont know what you are getting into. I sent you a private message.
