He said that they where all at 100%. I do not now if all of them are supposed to be 100% but i am just telling you what he told me. I wish i had more to give you but i don't, he has my tune on his laptop. I am just trying to figure it out so i can suggest things to him to look at. He thinks it is my cam and converter not working together?

That just sounds like an excuse. See if he'll sign up on here and post the file. He can actually get help tuning from other member on here as well instead of blaiming the cutomers setup.
No one knows everything about tuning. It takes team work to get **** right sometimes

That's a retarded claim on his part. I'm curious to know what the scientifics are of that claim. Is this only happening at part throttle without the transmission downshifting?

My converter will do the same thing. I'm on 3.42 gears and I don't make enough power in 4th gear at 1500 rpms with the converter locked up so the converter will try and lock and unlock around that speed.

me thinks that if the transmission is stock, the PWM and that big converter isn't getting along too good.

it's not in the tune.

I have been told that tooo much timing in those bucking areas could also cause the problem you describe.... you could ask him to turn down the timing a little bit in the cruise areas and see if that helps... Also I think the throttle follower comes into play with the problems your describing...

Also if your transmission is stock and you don't have a shift kit, you probably don't have the pressure to lock the converter properly, you could try lowering the Force Motor Current table, since it basically controls the total pressure of the transimssion, all other pressure tables feed off of it... Lowering the Force Motor Current table increases the pressure, kinda backwards but that is how it works.... I believe it is the software equivalent of the pressure control solieniod...

I would ask him to sign up but i don't think he will so i am trying to find out what it might be.

That is what mine is doing. Do not know if this matters but mine is 4.10 gears.

I had the transmission built.

I went to another tuner today and i am very happy with him. Mike Norris Motorsports got everything fixed for me. He took his time and went through the tune and got the transmission/converter problem fixed and he also touched up the tune because it was running lean. The problem was in the tune, some of the transmission/converter settings where still at stock settings. I appreciate everybody's help.
