FLT or RPM is great. If you go performabuilt get more than the level 1.

This is one of the main reasons I went with performabuilt.

I personally like to have 5 pinion planets and a sleeved input drum in any 4L60E for a truck when building a performance transmission. Granted a RCSB is on the light side for a truck so that would explain why some guys get away with a lesser transmission. When comparing any vendors transmission to another make sure you are comparing the same units. Look for new electronics, separator plate, reverse input drum, sprags, hard parts and so on. Don't let the marketing get you and make sure your buying the product! Best of luck. Vince
