tranny issue, need some help.

Its for an 07 Tahoe PPV
Here's my problem.
When accelerating it drives fine and shifts fine.
It's when I'm at cruising speeds, doesn't matter how fast or slow. If I stay at any speed for even the shortest period of time, it starts to shudder/shake. I feel it in the pedal and the steering wheel.
What are your thoughts on this?
Any info would be appreciated
Thanks

Its doing this when moving, not braking.

It sounds like this is happening when TC lockup would occur, which is only when speeds exceed 43-45MPH and is kept at that speed, or higher, for an extended period of time.
So I would scan the ECM for possible codes concerning the transmission ASAP.

After driving around the past couple of days to figure it out, that's exactly what is happening.
Would the scanners at AutoZone or Advanced be able to find out?
Curious, what could happen to my tranny if not taken care of sooner than later?
Thanks Koots.

I'm assuming they would, but I've never been to either store before, so I'm not sure how capable their scanners are
(I live in the Arctic) I'd prefer to take it to a dedicated transmission shop and have them check it out. They should know better than anyone how these things work.
The TC is vital to the operation of the transmission, it can cause complete loss of power to the wheels if it fails completely. It can even damage the rest of the transmission if the friction material inside is stripped off, contaminates the rest of the transmission and ruins the fluid.
It may last a few weeks or even months, but it might not last another 50 miles. It's hard to tell until you get it checked out though, so I might just be scaring you with the worst case scenario. Hope it doesn't end up being laborious or expensive!
