Just ordered my 40k tru cool and had 2 questions, what black paint is everyone using to paint it?

and anyone with the compass,thermo mirror, did you leave yer sensor in the stock spot or relocate it, if you left it alone, is it off any now?

 

I used duplicolor high heat engine paint

 

I removed that entire bar with the sensor on it and punched a hole into the plastic piece in the bottom to put it on. Still reads the same.
Considering putting the bar back on and bolting the cooler to it. Just have to drill out the holes.

My dad has rolls of hydraulic hose, crimp on ends and all the fittings , so i think im gonna make all new lines with green stripe -6an hydraulic hose, unless someone can tell me a downside to that?

you are bypassing the radiator and going straight to the trans cooler?

 

more than likely since that lowest it ever gets here is high 20's and that like almost never, the winters are like mid 30 and summers are like 106ish

 

got it today painted it flat black with engine paint, hopefully i didnt lay it on too thick
