Default Torsion Bar Adjustment Uneven

I recently finished installing upper and lower DJM lowering a-arms on my Z71 and the bolts on the adjusters are not even. One is right in the middle of the adjustment and the other is backed almost all the way out. These are stock keys.

What would cause this? I don't remember them being this bad before installing the DJM arms. Any ideas?

100% typical, I never seen a truck that sat level and the bolts were turned in the same on both sides, the metal used isnt a perfect density all the way through, so it takes a slightly different amount of twist to get the same amount of downwards torque. But if yours are off that much is possible you didnt put the key in the right orientation, probably the one that has the bolt all the way in

My left side is turned all the way in, passenger side is half out. Normal but irritating because I can feel one side is firmer going over bumps.

Mine is the opposite. Drivers side is most the way out and passenger side is 1/2 way in. I am debating whether or not to put the lowering key in on the drivers side.

I am pretty sure I put the key in right, I used the clamp tool to put tension on the key to get the adjuster and bolt in.

Do you know if the bars are side specific?

It would be very hard to put the keys in the wrong orientation. Its not a big deal if theyre different thats how i always see them. If the bolts are even then the truck doesnt sit level.

The truck is level, the adjustment in the keys is just much different.

From what I hear when bars are new, there not size specific, but some people claim after they have been used for a while they are?
