If stock

LS1Howto.com

If aftermarket follow the manufactures instructions.

Stock bolts are TTY and are not designed to be reused. FYI.

I thought that was just for the head bolts?

You can and many do, but when they fail from doing so you already know the answer as to why they did.

rod bolts are not tty, they are reusable.

just because a faster is torqued using the torque-angle method does not mean it is tty.
