Default Torque converter recommendations...

All of my mods are in my sig. Looking for input on stall mainly. I'm either getting a Yank or Fuddle.

Allen really likes his Yank 2600 so I may go that route.

Any other input? Keep in mind this is my daily driver, a lot of stop-and-go traffic, but lots of opportunities to trounce ricers, Hemi's, etc. So I need a good balance!

P.S. - Yank and Fuddle both recommended a 3000...

yank 3000, love it.

what kind of tires do you have?

Posi is a must with a stall, or the stall is pointless.

Tires are Toyo Open Country's I believe. Not too worried about breaking loose - can launch in AWD if need be.

Well, I just orderd a 3800 from them yesterday.....I think the minimum I would get with your application is the 2800-3000 also. Thats if your going to foot brake it alot. If your going to flash stall it then the 2600 is fine. The 2600 should flash stall to about 3000. Just my two cents for whatever it's worth.

Don't worry!!!! BE !!! There are alot of guys on here with higher stalls and they drive them everyday. I know Cody(a.k.a.o1slowz71) has a 3200 I think, and the drivability is very streetable...I know because I've ridd'n in it.

Get the Yank 3000. I've had one for over 2 years and drive mine everyday, its the only thing I have to drive! Also, I'm a 37 year old finicky ole' bastard and I'm a little more conservative then most 20something youngsters. You won't be sorry with a QUALITY 3000 converter. The only problem I have is traction. Where are you located? I'm sure someone would let you drive/or ride in their converter equipped truck
