Default T/A Girdle? Help pls...

Anyone running one of these? Since I have the stock housing, but Auburn LSD what part # shud I be getting - GM 10bolt 8.2-8.5"? My truck has 5 link and Eibach sways, so wonder if it'll fit? Last, the load fasteners for the bearing caps...how do you know how much to tighten them? I'm sharp as a bag of marbles when it comes to this stuff!

The locker you are running doesn't matter. Just get the one for the 8.5 -8.6. I don't remember the model number.

I recommend getting the stud kit while you are at it.

You just snug the jack screws down. Run them down till they touch and maybe another 1/4 turn.

I don't know where your sway bar crosses the housing but you may want to get the Low profile model. I did and didn't really need it.

Model # 1807A

5 ft/lbs. Then tighten jam-nut. Here's a link for install instructions.

Also gonna recommend you buy a low-profile cover for your app.

Interesting...I'v never used the GM additive, and Auburn says specifically not to use synth. I was curious about the gasket too...its got silicone on it now, and wondered what was better? R/

Follow Auburns recommended lubrication. Use a gasket, just make sure its doesn't cover the lube holes on the side.
